About: Dr. Frederick Kim is a recent graduate and Board Certified Family Medicine physician with a focus on Adult & Adolescent Medicine. He joined PMSI in August, 2025 and aims to continue helping patients live their own unique lives more fully. Dr. Kim earned his degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his Family Medicine Residency at UNC Health Southeastern.
Personal: Enjoys playing the cello, listening to classical and jazz music, reading science fiction, and watching Youtube videos about science and history.
Care Philosophy: “I am all about collaboration with patients – my goal is to always partner with individuals on an equal basis to help them achieve their health goals. I am an advocate of meeting people where they are, and being honest and open with communication – if I don’t know the answer, I will say so! Finally, I am a big believer in education and learning. I like nothing better than helping explain the complexities of medicine to everyone who wants to know!”
