About: Kim Churach is a Dual Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice and Gerontology Acute Care Medicine specializing in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine with primary focus on asthma, COPD, emphysema, lung nodules, sleep apnea, hypersomnia, and narcolepsy. She has 38 years of nursing experience and 18 years as a Nurse Practitioner. Kim is currently a preceptor for several colleges including Drexel University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Villanova University. She formerly served as President of Chestmont Nurse Practitioner Association and Speaker for the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. Currently affiliated with Pottstown Hospital Tower Health.
Personal: Enjoys walking at her favorite lake in the Poconos. Has volunteered as a Nurse Practitioner Student Preceptor and stays involved with local schools, her church, and other professional groups.
Care Philosophy: “I pride myself in providing high quality care. I believe I achieve this by listening to my patients and their families. I treat my patients the way I want my family treated by healthcare professionals. I feel it’s my job to explain the condition the patient is dealing with and provide them with their options for treatment. I believe it is important for the patient and their family to be a part of the decision in their treatment. After all it’s about them, not me.”
